We found out during installation that the 2 Kenwood vanities we purchased (no tops, no sinks) had hinges that were incompatible with mounting the vanities flush with a wall. Our carpenter switched the hinge type so that the doors could open to 90 degrees against a wall, which worked out very well, but it would have been helpful for Room and Board to add this detail in the item specifications so that we could have planned ahead (or chosen a different model).

I searched endlessly for something with cabinets instead of multiple drawers and this was the only vanity I could find with unbeatable quality. I love the simple lines yet it has a distinct mid-century vibe. It is so well made and just so beautiful! Love this item!

It looks beautiful, but we haven't installed it quite yet. Should look beautiful with the tile we just installed.

We decided on a walnut vanity to go with the walnut pieces we'd bought for our adjacent bedroom. Looks great! I'm a little nervous about my kids who seem to leave a lot of water on the counter top and consequently it runs down the face of the front cabinets. We'll see!

I bought this vanity several years ago. Almost immediately I noticed that the narrow top of the cabinets doors were discoloring to almost a white color. The wood looks like it has splotchy bleach marks. I called R&B and they sent a technician who sanded the top strips down and reapplied the stain and coated it with a thick layer of polyurethane. That lasted about three months. Then slowly the splotchy areas began to appear in the same exact spots which indicates there is a problem with the wood itself. This problem can't be fixed by refinishing the wood strip (it's already been done once). But rather there is an issue with the quality of the wood used for the top strips on both cabinet doors. So buyer beware if you buy this vanity and get one with this unknown defect. You'll love the vanity for about 3 months and if the splotchy areas begin to appear, you'll realize you've wasted your money because this can't be fixed with refinishing so your stuck with a poor quality vanity until you can replace it.

I love this vanity! I trust Room & Board to have high quality products and purchased this sight unseen, trusting that photos and descriptions online would be accurate. They were very accurate and the vanity looks and feels terrific in my updated powder room.

This is a great, solid vanity for a small bathroom. It is mostly made of wood with high-quality stainless steel fixtures. The light ash stain is subtle; it's a good idea to get a sample when planning your bathroom. Very pleased. #sweepstakes

I spent a long time looking for a vanity for my bathroom remodel. Seems like most range from cheap MDF to exorbitantly priced custom. Room & Board to the rescue again. This piece is solid; almost entirely real wood. The stainless details are sleek and well made. It has integrity & will elevate any bathroom. Do order the wood sample first, as finish varies on the ash color.

This is a beautiful vanity in our guest powder room but the finish around the drain is ridged and discolored. We remodeled the guest bath only a few months ago. We were considering purchasing these vanities for all of our bathrooms, that decision is now being reconsidered. This product is too expensive for a sink to be flawed - it's a sink! How can the manufacturer not get that right? I'm an R&B enthusiast (our entire house is R&B) but this is poor, poor craftsmanship that needs to be addressed. -

I purchased both the 72 inch double vanity and the 36 inch vanity for a two bathroom remodel. The larger vanity drawers have gaps on the sides that are bigger than on my Room and Board furniture that I have in the living room. Surprisingly, the soft closure is ONLY for the large doors below the sink and not for the three drawers in the center. The drawers in the center are very hard to close --you literally have to close them and then push again to get them completely closed. There is just something wrong with all of them so it must be a "feature". Just not great workmanship. I would not buy them again---they remind me of the Waverly vanities I tried to stay clear of.
