I Love This Bed!
Comments about Avery King Bed
I love R&B's platform beds & have ordered several in the past years. We needed a new bed immediately so there was no time to special order. We were hesitant to order the Sumner Ivory because we didn't want a white bed or the worry of getting any marks on it. I don't know what we were thinking, because as long as we're not eating fondue or writing with a fountain pen in bed, it's not going to get horribly stained. This bed is stunning! My husband always comments that it looks and feels better than a hotel bed. R&B uses metal slats to support mattresses (other companies use wood) and this bed is *very* supportive. We love it!
As always, R&B delivery guys are the best: friendly, strong, professional and very fast. They work so hard - please don't forget to tip them well!

Well built, beautifully upholstered.
From setting up the delivery with the distribution center, to the delivery associates calling to confirm they were on their way, Room and Board is above the best, in servicing their customers.

Solid and Well Built
Comments about Avery King Bed
Got this in a King size and due to steel slats, it's the most solid king size bed I have had. And the best thing about that compared to wood slats is there is zero noise when getting in or out. Fabric in Derry Flax is excellent choice, goes with everything.

So Solid!
Comments about Avery King Storage Bed
Our Avery King storage bed is just what we hoped for. It is SO SOLID. It does not move when one of us rolls around. I actually am not sure how we're going to move it when we need to switch out our flooring, but customer service has been fantastic so far, I'm sure they'd be willing to problem solve with us.
Our only issue with the bed is that the drawer pops out slightly on one side. I'm sure it has something to do with the alignment of the bed itself since we needed to move it slightly after it was delivered. The drawer itself is not terribly deep, but it is very wide and long, so we can store several sets of sheets in it, just not on top of each other. #sweepstakes
Merchant Response
The bed does need to be square for the drawer to properly function. Please give us a call if you'd like assistance in how to resolve this, we can be reached at 800.301.9720
