This is the sturdiest bed I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping in. Steel slats! My mattress performs differently on the bed in the best way. It's a worthy investment for a good night's rest! #sweepstakes

We bought this in king size with mattress and grey leather. Was beautiful for maybe a day. Within a week, the leather scuffed dramatically from just our pillows touching it, and we cannot get the scuffs out. It looks like someone clawed their way across the headboard......called the store where we purchased it 3 separate times. We were told to use a specific leather conditioner, it did nothing,,,then we were told someone will get back to us. NOTHING. We spent big bucks on this. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service or care.

The best beds beautiful durable comfortable And you do not hit your legs whith wood corners Is the second time I buy them

We live in New York City and desperately needed the bed with the drawer—after spending over 2 hours in the store in Chelsea, our sales person ordered the wrong bed. When we called, of course the bed with the drawer, plus, plus was another $600. Really frustrating that the sales person got it wrong and to make it right was so expensive.

I decided to purchase a bed from Room & Board due to the sturdiness of the steel slat design. I purchased this bed with intentions of getting a new mattress in the future. I was recently shopping for a memory foam mattress and I found out that in order to support the mattress I was purchasing and maintain the 10-year warranty, the spaces in between the slats can't be more than 4 inches. Unfortunately, the space in between each slat on my bed is about 4 1/2 inches. I contacted Room & Board to see how to go about getting more slats. The response I got was prompt and courteous, but I'm pretty disappointed to learn that they sell extra slats in sets of 4 at a price of $60 per set. The second option is to buy basically a plywood board covered in fabric for $250. Not sure how I will proceed yet...

This is a lovely, well made bed. I've never had a platform type bed before. It is a little different because you can't walk right up against the mattress because of the platform. Not bad, just need to get used to it. I mostly notice when I am folding clothes or other work on the bed. Make sure you consider the height of the mattress when buying this bed to make sure the right amount of the headboard shows.

great bed- just as described

I looked far and wide for a clean, modern, upholstered bed. I found it here

This bed is not just absolutely beautiful to look at but also incredibly comfortable. I LOVE that no boxspring is needed (the platform board works wonders) so you can still keep the low profile of the bed. I am so happy every night when I get into bed now! I never write reviews but had to for this bed-- I can't think of a single negative!

The bed came with a tear on the headboard and the leather was looser, not pulled as tight across the frame than what I saw in the show room. The delivery person noted and took a picture of the tear and loose fabric and said I would be contacted by someone to schedule either a repair or replacement headboard within a few days. I still have not been contacted by anyone and the bed was delivered on August 15. I sent an email on August 25 to my sales person, Danny, who said he would follow up, but still waiting. It's been a month, I think someone should have contacted me by now.
