Comments about Evan Arm Chair
We've had these chairs for a few years now. I'm 5'5" and the slanted seat does not work well for me—in fact it causes lower back pain. We've also discovered that if you're wearing pants with pockets, the armrests can get caught in the pockets. No one has fallen yet but we've had a few close calls. They look great but I wish we had gotten something else.

Best Store...most comfortable chair !
Comments about Evan Arm Chair
The last three times I have moved, I have changed the wood and the fabric based on my home asthetic. It the most stylish and comfortable chair. It can look classic, modern, casual, or formal, all at the same time.
The Delivery Team is the best in the business, by far. They communicate well, are on time, and considerate to your needs. They have been to my home so much, I know them by name.

Comfy and gorgeous !!
Comments about Evan Arm Chair
I have these chairs at my home in Pasadena, they have held up to normal wear and tear really well. These are also very comfortable - having hosted folks where we can sit and talk for hours. They are deceptive because of the simple lines but added these 2 to my SF home given the great experience in SoCal.
Great professionals, highly recommend white glove service

Sturdy, Beautiful, and Comfortable Enough to Sit CrossLegged
Comments about Evan Arm Chair
We couldn't be happier with our Evan Arm Chairs. The build quality is excellent—they feel incredibly sturdy, and the wood has a premium look and finish that really stands out. One thing we especially appreciate is the generous seat size. We like to sit with our legs crossed, and these chairs are spacious enough to do that comfortably.
We initially purchased four chairs, and they've been a perfect addition to our dining space. Since our table can accommodate up to six people, we're already considering buying two more to complete the set. Overall, these chairs are well-made, comfortable, and feel like they'll last for years.

Well made - beautiful to look at!
Comments about Evan Arm Chair
This was the first piece of furniture I bought for our new home in San Francisco. I could not believe how hard it was to find stylish dining chairs and a table that also looked good and went with my decor given it's an open floor concept. This is truly a stunning set and I hope to enjoy it for the next decade to come. Kids love it too and it feels so good to be able to put down a home cooked meal here versus kitchen island. Thank you!

Great chairs; comfortable but some quality issues
Comments about Evan Arm Chair Wood Seat
Chairs are comfortable and overall great quality but had issues with initially when delivered. Two of the chairs had stripped screws that had fallen out of the base and were stripped so could not be easily fixed. Had to scheduled a service visit which took a couple weeks. After getting them repaired under warranty they are great but initial quality was lacking for the price. Also one chair has very different wood grain than the rest; service tech reviewed it and stated it was wood grain and not any defect but does look different from the rest in cetain light. Would recommend but review every screw and color on delivery which would not feel like I have to review for missing screws at the price point of these chairs.

R&B for the win again!
Comments about Evan Arm Chair Wood Seat
Even though we were not able to see these in person or try them before buying- we took a chance and are SO SO happy that we did. We absolutely love them! They are very comfortable, super solid, and go with the table very nicely. We have always been so pleased with our Room & Board purchases. Also, it makes me happy that these chairs were made locally and I know they will last a lifetime.

classic clean and modern chairs
Comments about Evan Arm Chair Wood Seat
Purchased 6 chairs in walnut. I did hesitate about getting the fabric seating for comfort, but they are such a pain to maintain. The plain walnut looks clean and modern and should never go out of style. Customer service was perfect, as usual. #sweepstakes
