I'd been searching for the perfect dining room table for a while. The Walsh walnut table was the winner. It looks amazing in our place, especially paired with the Evan dining room chairs. Simple but elegant.

As with all R&B products, the wood is exceptionally beautiful. The table is chunky, sturdy and comes with two leaves that are easy to put in. Because of the leaves, the table size is flexible and can work for a small group or a large buffet. I highly recommend it.

I love the look of the table but I've had it for about 3 months and it has tiny scratches all over it and we are not rough on it at all. It just seems to scratch if anything touches it. It was pretty expensive so I'm upset about this and feel kind of dumb for purchasing it.

The Walsh Extension Table is the perfect dining table to fit in a modest sized dining area while expanding to comfortably seat up to 10 guests. I love the clean lines. The salt oak stain makes me so incredibly happy. It is absolutely stunning. The first table arrived with some cracks in the wood. Room and Board quickly swapped out the table with a new one. It was a one-off issue as this next table was perfect. I personally would hesitate to work with a retailer that did not focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Too much can go wrong and with Room and Board there is peace of mind. We have many pieces from Room and Board and find their products, service and price point to be quite unique in the industry. I looked for months and months to find an extending table that offered great leg room and a modern / transitional vibe. The Walsh exceeded my expectations. Plus, the finish is not fussy. I purchased the recommended cleaning product but have yet to use it. All in all.... I could not be happier!

This table is very beautiful. I wish it had been better made. After two years and change, three of the four major joints (table rail to leg) are cracking. The fourth appears under stress, as well. It's hard to tell if the original error was in the carpentry or in the assembly. In any case, a table this expensive from this company absolutely should not be experiencing this. I look forward to Room and Board replacing it.

Great table after having it for more than 5 years. The extension is great. I agree with other reviewers that storing the leaves is a challenge, no leaf locks so table pulls apart easy, and it dents/wears quickly. It's very sturdy though and I like the design with no additional legs in the middle. Best to have table cloths ready when entertaining and don't move the table or it will pull apart!
