Slim

I have been a loyal Room & Board customer for over a decade, spending well over $20,000 on major pieces including two beds, three sofas, four chairs, five tables, multiple rugs, and countless accessories. My family always viewed Room & Board as a trusted brand worth investing in because of their reputation for exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and customer care. Unfortunately, a recent experience has completely changed my perspective. I purchased three Slim side tables that receive minimal, low-impact use (holding book and a phone), and cleaned strictly with a soft cloth. Almost immediately, the finish of one of them began chipping, and the damage has progressively worsened. This is clearly a manufacturing or finish defect, not standard wear and tear. When I reached out to customer service, I was initially told after submitting photos that a representative could come inspect or repair the tables. However, the following day, I received a dismissive email stating they would offer no assistance, attributing the chipping to user error without further evaluation. Why would the user error not happen on all 3 tables?! To have a brand known for top-tier service dismiss a clear quality defect so casually is unacceptable. The value of Room & Board has always been grounded in standing behind their products. Until their customer service and quality standards align with their premium pricing again, I can no longer recommend them or purchase from them.

Particularly love the lower shelf. The table looks fantastic and maintenance is easy.

We have 3-5 small nieces and nephews over to visit fairly often, so we wanted something that could be kid-friendly (no edges) and could withstand some crayon treatment. We also needed to be able to easily vacuum under it. All needs met!

This item looks great and really competes my living room -- it is simple but brings a sophisticated look to any space. Highly recommend!

I'm really happy with the Slim 36" Round Coffee Table in Natural Steel. It looks even better in person—sleek, modern, and super sturdy. The steel finish has a cool, slightly industrial vibe, and the shelf underneath is great for keeping books or remotes out of the way. It feels really well made and fits perfectly in my space. Definitely a great find!

I absolutely love this coffee table--simple and stylish!! It looks great in the livingroom!!

The coffee table functions well in our condo and it looks great!

This item is the worst item I've ever purchased, period. It has arrived damaged twice, and the quality is horrible for a fairly expensive basic coffee table. Buyer beware, this is not durable and it is not of any quality at all.

We've had this table for two year and love it. We've bought other steel based furnishings in the past and most felt flimsy/hollow. Not the case with this table. It has substantial weight so no issues putting your feet on top of the table (no denting). The bottom shelf is convenient for extra storage. We opted for the natural steel finish which gives a subtle industrial look with a matte black appearance. The table is easy to clean and keep clean. We do have a few light scratches but you can't really tell from afar. Overall , very happy with the purchase.

low maintenance. Quality construction
