Oxford

The sofa is the perfect size for our one bedroom apartment. The fold out bed is super comfortable and the storage under the chaise is convenient. The construction is great and the cushions are comfortable and firm. It's a great height for a sofa. Well worth the price.

I love the look of this L-shaped queen size sleeper. The fabric is good quality, construction is solid, customer service is responsive, and the delivery service was exceptional. However, as others have said - the mattress is very firm. Also - there is the weird gap between the chaise part and the pull-out section. When it was delivered, we (the delivery guys, the telephone support person, and me) thought it was a manufacturing error, so we went through the trouble of replacing it. Nope - not an error but a design flaw. In the end I kept the second sleeper and bought a topper.

This couch is both beautiful and functional. We had several guests sleep on the pullout bed and all said it was very comfortable. It does have a firmer feel, but is still comfy and cozy for movie nights.

I purchased a sofa bed at Room and Board. Val was friendly and knowledgeable. She and helped my make my decision.

Unfortunately this sofa really didn't work for us. We ordered what was supposed to be the most resilient fabric and followed the cleaning instructions to a tee but literally everything that touches this stains it -- even water. In addition, all of our overnight guests have complained about how uncomfortable it is to sleep on. I'm giving it two stars because it is comfortable to sit on. This was a very expensive purchase for us and we thought the quality would be worth it, but we have been very disappointed.

We were looking for a lot in a couch, and the Oxford delivered! The storage space under the chase is fantastic! My teens are constantly pullout the trundle to lounge and nap, and stains are easily removed with the high performance fabric. There were a multitude of colors and types of fabrics to choose from. I appreciated the recommendations for families with pets and kids, as the choices overwhelmed me. I did A LOT of searching online for a couch that could stand the test of time, for in a smaller room, and have storage and pull out capability for a reasonable price. It is also very comfortable - medium firmness, and all cushions are maintaining their shape. I haven't tried washing the upholstery yet, as the cushion covers are also removable. It did take 2-3 months to get to us, which was fine for us. We are very pleased so far, with about a month of use.

I so wanted to love this sofa sleeper, but in the end, decided to exchange it for a Berin. I'd seen the Oxford in the showroom, where the fully 2" gap between the pop-up platform and the chaise did not look that large. I was shocked when it arrived and I pulled the sleeper platform up. I tested it lying down with my head pointed on either end of the couch, and it bothered me both ways -- either the gap was in my mid- to low-back, or it was exactly where my knees might be if I lay on my side. Room and Board need to (a) be very, very clear with potential buyers that there's a notable gap there (that lots of buyers complain about!), or (b) go back to the drawing board on this, because it's a design flaw. I also wasn't thrilled with the upholstery. We loved the custom fabric we chose, but the seams had lots of, not just loose threads, which I could snip, but *looped* threads, which, if snipped, would probably begin to unravel. Some of these loops were in very obvious spots on the sofa & likely to snag on people's clothes, fingernails, etc. The back cushions didn't line up evenly against the back either. And one arm simply wasn't upholstered quite right -- the fabric's puckered, and it wasn't laid straight up & down, so the pattern of the fabric was off. Pretty disappointing -- I sure hope I don't have similar complaints with the Berin that's coming to replace it! I've bought lots of pieces from Room and Board, and this is the first item I didn't love.

Well built, looks nice, and it's wonderfully functional, but it is hard as a rock! When it was delivered, I plopped down on it and bam! I did not expect it to be so firm, yikes! Luckily, it's not in a room for lounging. I just need to find a super thick mattress pad before I subject any guests to sleeping on it.

Especially silly with this cat friendly material this couch seems so substantial and seems like it will really la at

Bought this couch because my sister has the same one and we love lounging on it, watching movies, and end up falling asleep it's so big and comfortable. #sweepstakes
