We searched high and low for our couch. We don't have much to spend, and we live in a small house which means we really use this couch (it's our only one) and it's on full display. All this means we can't afford to buy something we're going to just have to keep replacing -- it's a tall order. There are a lot on the market that look nice on the outside, but upon closer inspection are just made cheaply using flimsy frames, fabric that quickly becomes misshapen and saggy, and cushions that cannot withstand sustained use beyond a year or two. This couch is the opposite of all that. Beautiful and attractive without being too trendy, solid and absolutely sturdy, and it didn't cost $10k. After viewing dozens of new & used options in person, measuring and researching, we couldn't be more satisfied with this, our final purchase.

I enjoy the low back of this sofa; sitting under my windows it's height is perfect. But the downside is two fold; it is a very hard seat and spending a longer day on it can get very uncomfortable. The arms are also very high, and straight; needs a little bit of softness to it overall.

Material is a warm textured velvet - in a soft beige. A stylish mid century modern look with the classic bench seat - accentuating a smooth, long, lean look. Both beautiful and comfortable - a perfect combination!

I'm so pleased with the quality and comfort of this couch. What a beauty! #sweepstakes

The Lloyd Bench Sofa is a fantastic sofa - the perfect combination of comfort and style. The large flat bench platform makes it comfortable for three people+ to sit across, and with pillows removed, the sofa can function like a large day bed perfect for a nap or reading. It also works well with the other mid-century pieces in our living room, but could also work well in a modern setting. Only suggestion is to get a few more throw pillows because the seat is deep for some folks.

Really love the color of this couch! The depth is amazing. Love being to lay completely on my back and resting. Great couch, great price. 100% would buy again!

The sofa is super nice and deep as we are tall. Love the one cushion and the firmness of the cushion.

Perfect width and depth for our small apartment. Little concerned about the removable cushions holding up their firmness over time but so far so good. Perfect for snoozin and loungin and the material is very durable for our small dog. The olive color is great in person too.

This sofa is gorgeous! I love walking into the living room and seeing it. It's also crazy comfortable! I wanted something that would keep its shape without being hard as a rock, and this one is just right. I also wanted something that could accommodate people of different heights - and this one does! The back and arm cushions instantly (and stylishly) allow for adjusting the seat depth. It's hard to find a piece of furniture that is sophisticated enough to anchor a living room - but also cozy enough to be everyone's first choice for an afternoon nap. Highly recommend.

It looks even better in person than it does on the Room and Board site. The proportions are just right, not too bulky, not too dainty. I was a little nervous about the bench cushion since I'd always had individual seat cushions, but I'm fully converted now. No more cushions sliding around or awkward gaps between seats. The whole thing feels like one big, inviting landing pad.
