Beam

Purchased two of these to use as monitor risers, and am happy to report that I find their elevated level of design to be thoroughly uplifting!

I like the stainless steel. It enhances the character of my Beam shelf. I had a problem with the first shelf riser that was delivered. It had a slight bend. That made it look really cheap. The friendly folks at Room and Board scheduled a replacement for me. The look of the new one is very sharp and looks very good on the shelf. Interesting fact. This steel is non-magnetic.

I bought these to obtain more shelf space within my existing shelves, and to encase some of my dvds and cds. Dvds can be stacked horizontallly within the shelf and cds can be stacked vertically with a little space to spare. These are very solid so no concerns about them sagging if you stack heavy books on them. The neutral, dark metal color goes well with almost anything. The cost is a bit much, but I would probably buy more of these if the need presents itself.

I love the design of this riser. It's stable and looks great. Currently I'm using it for a TV riser with the cable box and DVD player underneath. #sweepstakes

I bought this to serve as a riser for my 43" TV. The simplicity is great and there is ample space underneath for cable box and amplifier. I would caution others using for this purpose if you have an older, heavier flat panel TV. Initially tried placing 40lb TV on this stand and there was flexing in the center. When I swapped out with a much newer set weighing 18lbs there was no flexing whatsoever.
